We are committed to our hard-working team who are the backbone of our company. Our staff members regularly take part in team building events, manufacturer training and appraisals. We also have various policies in place to ensure our staff are happy and satisfied in their job roles, as this ensures that customers are provided with the best possible service.
The national apprentice scheme is something we invest time and resources into. Not only does it support training young people to gain valuable knowledge we also feel that it enables us to pass on important skills and maintain our high standards of both engineering and customer service.

Supporting charity's is also something we are passionate about. Over the years our employees have taken part in many different events for a variety of different charities including, Macmillan, Action Medical Research and Circus Star. We support our employees to participate in local or national events and provide sponsorship and other support where we can.

Meet The Team
Kevin Sime - Managing Director and Service Manager
Kevin qualified as a catering engineer in 2001 when he worker as a Service Engineer for one of the Country's Leading Catering Equipment Specialists.
In 2008 Kevin decided to become self employed and from this in 2009 Sime Catering Equipment became a limited company. Since this the company has grown from strength to strength on the reputation and customer relations built by Kevin.
Ann Kahrman - Director and Accounts Manager
Since completing her OND in Hotel and Catering Management in 1974 Ann has worked in many settings within the Commercial catering Industry. As an Operations Manager for Warwickshire County Caterers, she managed the kitchens of approximately 50 school across the county and then went into a similar role for Coventry City Council within Social Services.
Ann became part of the Sime Catering team in October 2015, she has brought with her a vast amount of knowledge and understanding of the industry and an inside perspective of our customers requirements.
Emily Sime - Marketing and Communication Manager
Emily works alongside Ann and Scarlett in our Head Office with her predominate focus on our integrated communications strategy. She also managers our Marketing and PR needs.
She also has previously worked in a commercial catering environment in a social enterprise, teaching adults with learning disabilities to train in different roles in the catering industry.
Mark Carr - Service Engineer
Mark has over 30 years experience within the industry and spent 17 years working for one of the Country's Leading Catering Equipment Specialists.
Mark specialists in Rational equipment and pressure boilers. He has also trained six apprentices, including Kevin, throughout his career.
Callum Jackson-Higgins - Service Engineer
Callum has a background in plumbing, pipe installation and boiler fitting and moved to the commercial catering sector in 2012.
Since then Callum has gained a range of qualifications and knowledge specific to commercial kitchens in a range of different environments.
Since joining us in 2018 Callum has completed his F-Gas Training and is now looking forward to furthering his professional development over 2021 and 2022.
Courtney Sowe - Service Engineer
We are delighted that Courtney will be joining our team in September 2021.

Scarlett Keilty - Office Assistant
Scarlett works in the office with Ann and Emily, supporting customers and doing administration tasks.
Scarlett has a range of experience working on a one to one basis with a variety of customers in a range of different environments. Bespoke customer service is her area of speciality and she always aims to provide the best customer service she can.
Pig - Office Dog
If you visit our Head Office in Atherstone, you are in for a warm welcome from Pig. Visitors are her favourite part of the day.
